I love this post Julia. With Christmas just around the corner, it's so easy to get caught up in buying more and more stuff we just don't need. But what a delightful gift - mending a loved item of clothing! The best gifts I have ever received haven't been purchased from the shops but have been thoughtful creations from people I love.

Thank you for reminding me about what really matters.

Thankyou Julia for mending my son's pyjamas so discretely. He was mortified that I'd let you anywhere near his crutch! But atleast he will get another season out of them.
